Schnepf Farm

Today we took it easy for the majority of the day to give the kids a little bit of a break! They played at the park this morning and had a lot of fun. After lunch we headed out for another fieldtrip - Schnepf Farm.

The first thing we did when we got there was get the kids' faces painted. Zora chose a pumpkin and Lily chose a ghost "BOO!"
Then they played a round (okay, only maybe a couple of holes) of miniature golf.
Then we went on a hayride and got to pet some deer.
The girls enjoyed the carousel...

...and several carnival-like rides. First was the Flying Bee. Zora & Noah felt so big riding together without an adult.
When we got to the airplanes these two "besties" flew together. They were so cute running from ride to ride holding hands :)
A couple of fall cuties...

Our next ride was a roller coaster. Zora & Lily were both very excited to ride. Noah was a little hesitant, but rode with a little bit of coaxing from his Mommy. Eva wanted to ride but was too little :( Once the ride started Noah's feelings were confirmed, and Lily quickly changed her mind. The entire ride she said, "Mommy, I not like this!" This picture (thanks to Daniel) makes me laugh. As you can see, Amy, Joel, Zora & I are smiling. Poor little Noah and Lily look absolutely miserable! Then we participated in a little Derby. Joel and I pedaled in the back and the girls just enjoyed the ride in front.
Lily was excited about finding this corn on the ground.
Here we are getting ready to walk through our very first cornfield maze.
Next we went to a petting zoo. Their favorites were the baby goats!
Then they rode tricycles through a hay maze. Joel helped Lily a little because her feet could barely reach the pedals.
When we got back to the Voss' house we had an All-American weenie roast. Mmmmmmm. And of course if you have a fire going you have to finish it off with some marshmallows and s'mores!
So, here's to another great day! We've had so much fun this week and like the old saying goes, "Time flies when you're having fun!" We've only got a couple more days here until we head back to T-town. Tomorrow Amy and I are having a "girls day out", and on Saturday Joel and Daniel are going to have some "male bonding" at a Sun Devils football game!
