My Sweet Little Man

I told Joel back in August that a new man has stolen my heart.  He didn't get too jealous because that same little man stole his heart too!  That Little Man is Seth.  He is now 3 months old!  Although he was my smallest child at birth, he is now a CHUNKY MONKEY!!!  At his 2 month check-up he weighed 15 lbs, 2 oz!!!  Now, at 3 months he already weighs over 17 lbs!!!  He's so heavy he's wearing me out fast!  I cannot even describe how bad my back hurts by the end of each day from lugging him around everywhere!

Because he keeps me so busy I rarely have the chance to grab our decent camera to capture special moments.  Most of the time I'm lucky if I can get my phone quick enough to capture the moment.  Below is a progression of pictures over the last 3 months of his life...He is truly a "man of many faces"!

Seth's favorite part of every day is bath time!  When it gets close to 8pm if he is not in the bathtub he starts throwing a screaming fit and the only thing that will make him stop is to get him in the tub!

Daddy's working hard on the new house every day and Mommy's just plain exhausted :-)  The great thing is that Seth sleeps great through the night! YAY for Mommy and Daddy!!!

I love these next two pictures.  They bring a smile to my face and tears to my eyes because I realize how incredibly blessed I am!

HALLOWEEN!

The weekend before Halloween Daddy helped the girls carve their pumpkins.  Zora dug right in to help clean out the "pumpkin guts", but Lily REFUSED.  Daddy carved and Zora cleaned them out.  They each got to pick what their pumpkin's face would look like.  They each drew their face on a sheet of paper then Joel drew it onto the pumpkin for them and cut it out...

Our first celebration was at playgroup on October 28th.  We had a lot of fun and tasty treats with all of our playgroup friends.  It was fun to see their costumes too! One of my friend's little boy was the cutest Winnie the Pooh I've ever seen!

And Seth enjoyed some time with his Poppy Joe at playgroup that day!

Then on Sunday the kids got to dress up again for our church's Trunk-Or-Treat celebration.

Finally, on Halloween night we went to the Bowden's house and met up with several of our friends to enjoy trick-or-treating in their neighborhood.  Afterward we stopped by another friend's house and the girls had fun adding to their costumes...

We ended the evening with a short trip to Papa and Nana's house.  It was a great weekend.  Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do with the 3 huge bowls of candy that we have at our house...any suggestions?!?!?!?!?

Fun Fall Festivities

Although my outings are much fewer now with an infant, we have taken time to do some fun and special things this fall.  Zora has started back to dance this year.  She is taking ballet and is doing so well.  We are so proud of her!  This is a picture of her entire dance class at their Halloween celebration.

Lily has decided to play basketball this year.  She had her orientation back in October.  Her practices will start after Thanksgiving and her games will start after the new year.  We can't wait to see her in action!  I'm sure it will be very entertaining!!!  These pictures are terrible because my phone doesn't do well with action photos...

Back in October the girls got a very special treat with some of our homeschool friends.  They got to attend a horse lesson!  They were given a lot of information about horses, how to take care of them, different riding styles, etc.  Then they got hands-on experience grooming and riding a horse.  They were in heaven!  They can hardly wait until we move because their Papa has already promised to get them a horse once we're on our land.  They're also saving their own money to help buy the horse and/or a saddle, grooming necessities, etc.  They love getting on craigslist with their Daddy to look at horses that are for sale in the area.

We also had our annual trip to the pumpkin patch!  All three kids were decked out in their pumpkin shirts :-)  Seth's shirt says, "cutest pumpkin in the patch" and I have to say it was true!  He was cooperative for pictures at first, but after a while he had had enough!  Aunt Gina took him inside out of the wind to feed him and get him to sleep while Papa, Nana, the girls and I fed the animals in the petting zoo, rode on the hayride and even had camel rides!

We've also had some play dates with friends and attended some birthday parties.  I don't have pictures of all of them (my hands have been kinda full lately) but here's a few...
